Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　朱淇（刘心悠 饰）一直以来都希望成为一名演员，然而，在娱乐圈摸爬滚打浸淫多年，始终缺少一点运气的她却依然只能在剧中混得一个跑龙套的小角色。一次偶然之中，电影公司的大老板杰夫（林德信 饰）看中了朱淇，钦点她做一部炒得十分红火的贺岁片的女主角，朱淇兴奋之余害怕自己已婚的身份会影响星途，于是决定隐瞒这一事实。　　朱淇的丈夫赖毛（周柏豪 饰）是一名娱乐记者，为了老婆的前途着想，他只能不情不愿的配合着朱淇的脚步。然而，随着朱淇的走红，赖毛发现自己和老婆之间的距离越来越远，不禁心生疑虑，潜伏剧组之后方才发现朱淇和杰夫之间竟然有着扑朔不明的暧昧关系。

　　《笔仙大战贞子2》讲述了美术学院学生夏柚（奚美丽饰），在与“姐妹团”佩洁（朱娅饰）、小依（王宇凝饰）、雯雯（林奕婧饰）聚会时候玩起了通灵游戏，阴差阳错之下招致了贞子的出现，伴随而来的还有噩梦和杀戮。被逼无奈之下，姐妹团决定召唤笔仙，一场中日鬼王之间的恶战再次掀起。

 1920年，英国总督斯科特和他的妻子凯瑟琳访问阿迪拉巴德的一个部落，并强行带走了部落里歌唱天赋异禀的小女孩玛莉，部落的保护者比姆（小老虎 饰演）为了救回玛莉，伪装成穆斯林。斯科特得知消息后，总督府的底层卫兵拉朱（拉姆·查兰·特哈 饰演）为了升职也同时为了完成他父亲遗愿和他对部落承诺，主动请愿自己可以将比姆逮捕。比姆和拉朱因共同拯救了一个差点葬身火海的小男孩而巧遇，他们并不认识对方，然而两人也隐藏了自己的真实身份，相互联系，成为挚友。拉朱在一次调查中发现自己的挚友就是总督要逮捕的比姆，他一边是承载了父亲的遗愿和整个部落的承诺，一边是自己的挚友，他该如何抉择…..
