通往死刑台的电梯
供职于某医疗机构的医师时藤隆彦（阿部寛饰），与会长手都孝光（津川雅彦饰）美艳的妻子芽衣子（吉瀬美智子饰）发展了一段不伦之艾旦影视。为达到长久在一起的目的，芽衣子怂恿时藤杀害了丈夫，并企图制造一起完美犯罪。正所谓人算不如天算，时藤的行动出现差错，自己也被困在电梯之中。另一方面，执行任务的小警察赤城邦卫（玉山鉄二饰）被黑帮殴打并抢去配枪，他和女友松本美加代（北川景子饰）私自开走了时藤停在路边的敞篷车追赶黑帮。自此，一切陷入失控，众人各自朝向既定的命运绝望行进……
