Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
宁静的山村进入雨季。村中的老伐木工人岸克彦(役所广司 饰)为人古板,与儿子关系紧张。他在上工途中给东京来的新人导演田边幸一(小栗旬 饰)和副导演带路,由此被拉入一部丧尸电影的外景拍摄。在被迫充当临时演员后,克彦竟对电影产生了微妙的兴趣,他开始不请自来的帮助摄制组与村民沟通,开展工作,甚至忽略了本职与妻子的忌日。 突然闯入的摄制组扰乱了山村的平静和克彦的生活,也改变了导演幸一自身。幸一生性腼腆缺乏自信,在摄制组中毫无威信。偶然间他发现自己的丧尸剧本竟为克彦所欣赏,不禁大受鼓舞,两人在数次的泡澡时间里进行了奇妙的沟通。在克彦的帮助下,幸一慢慢树立了自信,电影拍摄也步入正轨。然而临关机前的一场瓢泼大雨再次令拍摄陷入危机,克彦的缺席也令幸一惶恐无措起来…… 影片获第24届东京国际电影节评委会大奖。片中两位主演役所广司和小栗旬在现实中亦均担任过导演。
仿佛永不停歇的连绵之雨,引领着成军四年半的姬川班前往终点。在一周时间内,东京连续发生三起作案手法雷同的杀人事件,死者全部隶属最大黑帮大和会的下属组织。警方旋即成立搜查总部,组队四课坚持认定该案件因继承人之位而起,而姫川玲子(竹内结子 饰)提出质疑,导致总部分裂。随之而来的神秘电话,令玲子将目标锁定在柳井健斗(染谷将太 饰)的陌生男子身上,然而高层却下令她禁止追查柳井这条线索。绝不随便屈从强权的玲子,在菊田和男(西岛秀俊 饰)等姬川班伙伴的掩护下展开独立调查,在此过程中,柳井不堪回首的过去以及和警方错综复杂的关系逐渐明朗。而和自称房地产商人的牧田勋(大泽隆夫 饰)邂逅,使得同样背负着伤痕的玲子命运发生转变…… 本片根据誉田哲也的系列悬疑小说《草莓之夜》改编,为同名电视剧的剧场版。
本片改编自同名漫画,讲述了沉迷游戏、巧克力和猫、毫无恋爱兴趣的高中生星野杏子(上白石萌歌 饰),被魔法使莉莉强行卷入“一个月内必须恋爱”的任务中。为拯救因恋爱能量枯竭而濒临崩溃的魔法界,莉莉夺走杏子的快乐来源,并制造一连串浪漫陷阱,试图让她坠入爱河:酷帅转学生香月司(高桥恭平 饰)、天然幼驯染速水纯太(木村柾哉 饰)、傲娇王子小金井圣(中岛飒太 饰)轮番登场,还出现了强制同居、班级重编等浪漫套路。面对一波波胸动心跳的攻势,杏子能否坚持自我、恢复平静生活?“我是浪漫杀手——谁来都放倒!”
