ようやく学校にも、部活にも馴染み始めた早華胡桃は、男子生徒からも人気の的となっていた。それを良く思わないかつての学園の人気ものチアリーダー部の桃香は、胡桃を孤立させようと生徒会長と組んで罠に掛けようとする。そんな胡桃の命運を掛けて浪漫倶楽部VS生徒会長＆桃香の怖くて逃げたら負けとなる怪奇百物語勝負が行われる。相羽は、会長を怖がらせて胡桃を守ることができるのか。暗闇の体育館で始まった百物語は、絶叫と涙の展開を迎えるのだった。

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
