小さな出版社の編集部で働く葉子は、人とコミュニケーションをとることが苦手で男性恐怖症、真面目だけが取り柄の地味なOL。 しかし最近どうも体の調子がおかしい。しっかりと睡眠を取ったはずなのに、勤務中に強烈な睡魔に襲われたり、毎日異常な倦怠感を感じている。 そのせいで仕事ではミスを連発、ただでさえ地味な葉子に厳しい編集長には毎日怒鳴られている。 そんなある日、葉子は突然見知らぬ男に声を掛けられる。「君のことをもう一度抱きたい」「忘れられないんだ」と男に迫られ、その場を逃げ出す葉子。 やがて葉子は、自分が眠った真夜中に別の人格=ヨーコが、男たちと一夜限りの関係を楽しんでいることを知る。 ヨーコの存在はやがて葉子の日常を侵食し始めるのだが、葉子はヨーコと交換日記を通じて、意思の疎通を図ろうと思いつく。 こうして葉子とヨーコ、私と私の奇妙な交流が始まる・・・

It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
