本片改编自同名小说，故事始于高一夏天，坂平陆（高桥海人 饰）与水村真奈美（芳根京子 饰）在泳池事故后灵魂互换。两人坚信能恢复原状，苦寻方法，然而15年过去，依旧未能换回。升学、初恋、就业、结婚、生子，他们只能以彼此的身体走完人生重大节点。直到30岁那年夏天，真奈美突然说：“我或许知道怎么换回来了。”命运的齿轮，开始再次转动——
